My First Day in School

My Family
My family is small with only three members: my parents and me. My father is a doctor and my mother is a teacher. They both work hard to support our family.
I have a strong bond with my family. We often spend time together going shopping, watching movies, or taking trips. What I love most is our family dinners. We talk about our day and share our stories. It’s a wonderful way to bond and connect with each other.

My Hobby – Running
Running is my favorite hobby. It makes me feel alive and free. Every time I go for a run, I feel like I’m in my own world where nothing else matters.

Last year, I went on a trip to Beijing with my family. It was an amazing experience. We visited many famous places, such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City. I was impressed by the history and culture of China.
We also tried many different kinds of food, such as Beijing roast duck and dumplings. They were delicious! I also bought some souvenirs for my friends and family back home.

A Rainy Day
Today is a rainy day. I woke up to the sound of raindrops hitting my window. It’s a cozy feeling to stay at home on a rainy day. I made myself a cup of hot chocolate, grabbed a book, and snuggled on the couch.
Even though it’s a bit gloomy outside, I still appreciate the beauty of the rain. It gives life to the plants and makes the air fresh. I also like how everything looks shinier and more vibrant after the rain stops.

My favorite food is pizza. I love the taste of the melted cheese, sauce, and toppings. Pizza is also very versatile because you can customize it any way you want.
Whenever I feel like having pizza, I either make it myself or go to my favorite pizza restaurant. I like to try different kinds of toppings such as pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives. It’s a delicious treat that I can enjoy anytime.

The Importance of Sports
Sports are an important part of life. Not only do they keep us active and healthy, but they can also teach us important life skills such as teamwork and perseverance.
Playing sports is a great way to make friends and have fun. It’s also a good way to relieve stress and improve our mental well-being. Whether it’s playing soccer or going for a swim, there’s a sport for everyone.
Unit 8: Holidays
My Christmas Celebration
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love the festive atmosphere, the decorations, and the delicious food. Every year, my family and I celebrate Christmas together.
We decorate the Christmas tree, wrap presents, and make gingerbread cookies. On Christmas day, we gather around the fireplace and open our presents. For dinner, we have a special meal with turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. It’s a wonderful time to spend with loved ones.
