Unit 1 My School Life
My school life is very interesting and busy. I wake up early every day and go to school by bus. Our school has a big playground, where we play basketball, football and tennis. I love playing basketball with my classmates after class. We also have many interesting classes, such as English, Chinese, Maths, Science and History. Our teachers are very kind and patient. They always help us solve our problems. I feel very lucky to study in such a good school.
Unit 2 Spring Festival
Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It usually falls in January or February. People clean their houses and decorate them with red banners and lanterns. They also buy new clothes for themselves and their children. On the New Year’s Eve, families get together and have a big dinner. They also set off fireworks to welcome the New Year. Children receive red envelopes with money from their parents and relatives. They are very happy. Spring Festival is a time for families to be together and to enjoy themselves.
Unit 3 Our Hobbies
Everybody has his or her hobbies. My hobby is playing the guitar. I started learning to play the guitar when I was nine years old. I practice every day for at least one hour. I like playing some pop songs and classical music. Playing the guitar makes me feel relaxed and happy. My friend’s hobby is playing basketball. He is very good at it. He practices every day after class. He wants to be a basketball player when he grows up. I think hobbies can make our lives more colorful and meaningful.

Shopping is a popular activity among people all over the world. I like shopping very much. I usually go shopping with my friends on weekends. We go to the mall and buy clothes, shoes, and accessories. The mall is very big and has many shops. We also have a lot of fun chatting, trying on clothes and taking photos. Sometimes we have lunch together in a restaurant. I think shopping is not only a way to buy things, but also a way to relax and have fun.

Our future life is full of possibilities and challenges. I hope to become a doctor in the future. To achieve my goal, I will study hard and try my best to get good grades in school. I will also attend some medical courses and volunteer in hospitals during my spare time. My friend wants to be an artist. She loves painting and drawing. She practices every day and hopes to hold an exhibition in the future. I think our future life depends on our efforts and choices. We should work hard to realize our dreams.
Unit 6 Our World
Our world is beautiful and diverse. It has many different countries, cultures, and languages. I love travelling and exploring new places. Last summer, my family and I went to France. We visited the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and the Palace of Versailles. We also tasted some French food, such as croissants, crepes, and escargots. It was an unforgettable experience. My friend is planning to visit Japan next month. She wants to learn about Japanese culture and try some sushi. I think travelling can broaden our horizons and enrich our lives.
